Buzz Clubs are specialist youth groups designed specifically for children and young people with disabilities and complex health needs.
These groups are for young people aged 12 to 18, and are a vibrant and welcoming space for young people to come together, build friendships, and explore their potential in a nurturing environment. Buzz Clubs offer fun activities designed to enhance various skills, including cognitive, motor, and social skills. Through these activities, young people can learn new things in a supportive and happy environment developing their independence.
Each club is for up to 6 young people who live within the East Riding of Yorkshire. Referrals are made through the East Riding SEND team. There is a high staffing ratio of 1 staff member to 2 young people.
Buzz Clubs are term time only and run in 3 locations each week:
- Monday – Cottingham
- Tuesday – Beverley Holme on the Wolds
- Thursday – Market Weighton
Cost: £5 per session.
